For the Master Volume Modification, does the original "Volume" knob become "Gain"  Yes, by default the 'Volume' becomes the 'Gain' control. If you turn the Master Volume full up / wide open it is out of the circuit.

Do you re-label the knobs if necessary  Yes we always label any new control feature that we add. In this case we will label the new Master Volume as 'Master'
 
How much does adding a 3-position mini toggle 'Bright' switch cost  $59.95 & it is tied to the added 'Master' Volume control.
 
I don't know if it's only my amp, or is it the nature of all Class 5 amplifiers, but as soon as you dial volume anywhere over 2, it starts breaking up and all you get is distortion.  Generally speaking this is normal as there are 4 gain stages but pickup height can effect this as well as the type of preamp tubes you are using.

Is there any way to change it so I would be able to dial a slightly overdriven sound if necessary and distortion would start somewhere around 6?  Yes this can be done through our Custom Shop as a Custom Modification
