“Joe Perry had just finished playing on his newly assembled Live Rig for Aerosmith’s 2015 ‘Blue Army Tour’. As we made our way to the parking lot we were deep in conversation about various vintage amps & effects as we were leaning on his Oldsmobile 442 convertible. Our eyes were adjusted to the studio lighting inside when the sun came out from behind the clouds in all its glory & someone called out ‘let’s grab a quick photo’. We immediately picked up where we left off chatting about gear. As our conversation came to a close Joe slipped into his 442 & rolled off down the road & I headed out to join the rest of the crew for dinner.
