AC/DC - Here's a great video with Stevie Young & my good friend & Stevie's Guitar Tech Mr Greg Howard! You'll see some of the gear I worked on in this video in passing & the roadcase marked 'Off Stage Technical Department' was with me daily. Stevie plays like Mal & point of fact he is using Mal's rig & guitars. Most do not believe this but when Greg shows you what Stevie's guitar pics look like after 1 song - this is 100% real & I witnessed it. Both Stevie & Mal's tone comes from how hard they hit the 12ga strings & the amps react accordingly. This is a big part of the AC/DC rhythm sound, yes the amps help (goes without saying--lol) but the attack & the guitar also comprise what you hear coming off that side of the stage!
