We are often asked ‘How can you tell if a tube is shorted?’ Great question! If the tube is power white at the top like this one it has lost vacuum & it's time to replace the power tubes with a matched set. This is a bit more of a rarity thought it happens. Voodoo Amps 3-Position "Bright" Switch - Can be added to most amps & greatly improves versatility. Aside from brightness these switches also effect low end, crunch as well as gain / distortion & how the amp feels. These are typically tied to a "Gain" or "Volume".

Settings; 
#3 – Maximum Brightness
#2 - Warmest Setting / Control is bypassed 
#1 - Medium Brightness (Brighter then #2 & less brightness then #1) 


IMPORTANT - The “Bright” switch affects the tone a few different ways;

• On a scale from 1-10; When Gain pot is set to 1 the tone will be brightest
• As you slowly make full rotation around pot the Bright switch will begin to have less & less effect
• When Gain control is set to "10" there is no audible difference but you will feel a difference on the low end. IE: it will feel tighter/crunchier
• Set to 12:00 the tone will be crunchier
• When Bright switch is engaged the amp will feel tighter / harder to play on
